Streaming sticks and boxes — including Roku, Amazon Fire TV Stick, Apple TV, and Google Chromecast with Google TV — all support netflix.com/tv2 activation code sign-in. Rather than hunting and pecking through an on-screen keyboard with a remote, you use a phone or computer to visit netflix.com/tv2 and authenticate quickly and securely. This guide covers each device so you can get Netflix streaming in minutes.
1

Go to the Roku home screen

Press the Home button on your Roku remote (the button with a house icon) to make sure you are starting from the main Roku home screen.
2

Find and launch the streaming channel

Scroll through your installed channels and select the streaming app you want to sign in to (e.g. Netflix, Hulu, Disney+). If the channel isn’t installed yet, go to the Streaming Channels or Channel Store section to add it.
3

Select Sign In

On the app’s welcome or sign-in screen, select Sign In. If you are presented with sign-in method choices, select the option that mentions signing in via a web browser or using an activation code.
4

Note the URL and short code on screen

Your Roku will display an activation URL (e.g. netflix.com/tv2) and a short alphanumeric code — typically 4–8 characters. This code is unique to your session and will expire after a few minutes, so move on to the next step promptly.
5

Open the URL on a phone or computer and enter the code

On your smartphone, tablet, or computer, open a web browser and navigate to the URL shown on the Roku. Sign in to your streaming account if you aren’t already logged in. Type the code displayed on the TV into the activation field and confirm.
6

Your Roku refreshes and is signed in

Once the code is accepted, your Roku detects the completed activation and automatically refreshes the app. You will be taken to your account’s home screen and can begin watching immediately.
If you do not see a code on screen after selecting Sign In, check whether the app offers an option labeled “Sign in using a mobile or web browser”, “Use a web browser to sign in”, or “Get an activation code” — selecting one of these will trigger the activation flow and display the URL and code. Some apps show this as a secondary or alternative sign-in method rather than the default.
