What You Need
Before you start the netflix.com/tv2 activation process, make sure you have all of the following on hand:A Netflix Account
An active Netflix subscription. You will need your Netflix account email address and password during activation at netflix.com/tv2.
A Supported TV or Streaming Device
A Smart TV or streaming device that has the Netflix app installed and is powered on. See the Supported Devices section below for a full list of compatible hardware.
A Phone, Tablet, or Computer
A second device — such as a smartphone, tablet, or laptop — with a web browser installed. You will use this device to visit netflix.com/tv2 and enter your Netflix account credentials.
A Working Internet Connection
Both your TV and your second device must be connected to the internet at the same time. The TV needs connectivity to generate and validate the activation code; your phone or computer needs it to load netflix.com/tv2.
Supported Devices
Netflix TV activation via netflix.com/tv2 is supported across a wide range of hardware. Smart TVs from major manufacturers — including Samsung, LG, Sony, and Vizio — all support Netflix activation through their built-in operating systems (Tizen, webOS, Google TV, and SmartCast respectively). Streaming sticks and boxes such as Roku players, Amazon Fire TV sticks and cubes, Apple TV (4th generation and later), and Google Chromecast with Google TV also fully support Netflix activation codes. Finally, game consoles including Sony PlayStation (PS4 and PS5) and Microsoft Xbox (One, Series S, and Series X) have the Netflix app that uses the same netflix.com/tv2 activation flow.Before You Begin
Make sure both your TV and your phone or computer are connected to the internet before you open the Netflix app. Netflix activation codes are time-sensitive — they typically expire after just a few minutes — so have your phone or computer within arm’s reach before you launch the app on your TV. If the code expires before you finish, the TV will generate a new one and you will need to start the netflix.com/tv2 process over.
